Rarely have we seen a person fail

SHIFT Cyclery & Coffee Bar, Eau Claire, WI, on the way up to help CXO move in to his new house in Minneapolis. I like coming here because my friends Aaron and Laura helped start it and because it helps me stay on-target and not pig out on convenience store road food during my journey.

I love the measured nature of the first word. No aggrandizement, no snake oil, no sham-wow. Just a call for thoroughness.

Note: today the marks the start of a new project: How It Works Photo Essay. Every day I take a representative image and pair it with the text of the beginning of Chapter 5 of the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. A simple mashup to learn Adobe Sketch and remember who I am.
