Army Reservist Struck, Killed On Highway 69
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — An Army reservist home on leave was struck and killed as she walked along Highway 69 early Friday morning.

It was still not known Friday why Walsh was on the expressway, but a police investigation is continuing. Police said Walsh was walking on the westbound LIE between Exits 64 and 65 Wednesday morning when a 1995 Ford struck and killed him. No charges were filed against the driver, Oswaldo Perez-Rios, 36, of Calverton.
