So today I started as the "Chicago News Examiner" for the Examiner.com Web site. I am going to be covering Chicago news stories a couple times a week. I’m excited about doing it because it’s a low-impact side project where I can write my goofball thoughts and odd link-love research as I please.
My first post is a closer look at the horrors of the Whole Foods closing by the Chicago Health Department. Food inspection closing press releases are a content type that is near and dear to my heart, and I was able to mine our Chicago food inspection info over at EveryBlock to shine some light on the nether regions of the walk-in coolers, so to speak.
