So I have been actively posting to my website, Open Source Homeland, over the last month or so. The concepts that I explore there– loosely coupled relationships between government and private citizens, using emerging tools to help make us safer, cutting through gov’t baloney to get things done to make us safer– are getting more crystallized in my mind as time goes by. Here are some posts from the last week:
- More sharing of DHS satellite info is nothing but good
- Regular people can do intelligence
- State Department engaging
- Economics in terrorism
This week I’ll also be vetting the new Homeland Security Strategy for the State of Massachusetts, looking for ways they can include OSH-style tactics in their thinking.
