I know I’m a little late to the game on this one, but on the day that Bennigan’s went bankrupt and abruptly closed, I went to the one on Michigan Avenue, 150 S. Michigan Ave., and took some shots.
Among the "SORRY WE ARE CLOSED signs was a scrappy indicator of economic life, and proof that our hearts will go on — a note that read as follows:
