Today we find out why it’s always best to wait for the New York Times obituary to be published.
Yesterday I GoogObitted Joe Connelly of “Leave it to Beaver” fame from an obituary found in the Chicago Tribune via the Los Angeles Times. Since he is an entertainment figure, I assumed that the LA Times would cover hm pretty well.
Today the NYT weighs in on the subject of Mr. Connelly, and they characteristically publish an obituary with more context, more telling anecdote, and greater depth. And apparently even Elvis Presley is involved. I should have waited. GoogObits moves on…
