Some of my compilation art projects center on collecting and indexing other works. This has been a primary mode of my art for as long as I can remember, and has informed large parts of my career in aggregating government & public data.
Through Time
This is an ongoing project where I take the same photo in some spot in nature through different seasons, times of day, and weather conditions.
Wide Right Turn
This project, where I collected images of more than 70 different Wide Right Turn signs, is a primary example of compilation art. It even led to an interview with the person who designed the very first one.
