Yesterday some dude who works for the re-election campaign of the President of the United States asked me to give them money, so I did. I gave $50 to Obama 2012, and I strongly urge anyone who voted for our President in 2008 do so as well.
The other day there was a “small donors not giving bank to Obama” meme out there and a Chicago-specific story titled “Cracks appear in Obama’s Chicago base“.
I call bullshit. I ask any of my fellow Chicagoans who voted for the President in 2008 to look me in the eye and tell me that they are going to support a Republican instead of our man. It’s not true. They won’t. So stop it now, rather than later. The President’s enemies are focused on this race right now, and the President’s friends are off fretting about the President. Eventually, just like in every election, those who belong in the fold will get back in the fold. History shows that when Democrats are whining about Democrats, the Democrat loses. And when Democrats are aggressive and pressing our case against Republicans, we win.
Let’s decide to win.
