It was nice to have such a simple ballot, devoid of judges. Here's how I voted:
- Mayor: Rahm. See here for details
- Clerk: Mendoza. I heard nothing bad about her, and people I respect support her
- Treasurer: Neely. Unopposed, but I went ahead and connected the bars for her. She's been doing the job, and she's always seemed competent to me
- Alderman: Colon. I've considered going for Schiavone, mainly because I liked her graphics and she (or her staff) interacted with me on Twitter. I even pledged my damn vote to her. Alas, once in the booth I was reminded that she never really gave me much reason to vote for her, that Colon had never done anything bad to me (in fact, he was one of a handful of Alderman to vote against the parking meter deal) and a mere @reply on Twitter need not determine the future of Democracy
