Now that Shaun Donovan, New York City's housing commissioner, has been picked to head the Housing and Urban Development, here's to hoping that there will be lots more quality housing to be had all over. Here's some new stuff available from them as of today:
NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SENIOR CITIZEN APARTMENTS FOR RENT IN THE TURTLE BAY SECTION OF MANHATTAN

Council on Jewish Poverty is pleased to announce that applications are
now being accepted for 18 affordable housing rental apartments under
construction at 228 East 46th Street in the Turtle Bay section of
Manhattan. This building is being constructed through the Inclusionary
Housing Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation
and Development (HPD).
NEWLY CONSTRUCTED APARTMENTS FOR RENT IN THE OCEAN HILL SECTION OF BROOKLYN
L&M
Prospect Plaza LLC is pleased to announce that applications are now
being accepted for 150 affordable housing rental apartments now under
construction at 467 Howard Avenue in the Ocean Hill section of
Brooklyn. This building is being financed by the New York State
Division of Housing and Community Renewal's Homes for Working Families
program (HWF), New York State Housing Finance Agency and the New York
City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
NEW CONDOMINIUM APARTMENTS FOR SALE IN MANHATTAN
Applications
of interest are now available for 18 new condo apartments being
constructed in the Harlem section of Manhattan at 2280 Frederick
Douglas Blvd. This building is being developed through the Negotiated
Sale Program of New York City's Department of Housing Preservation and
Development with the assistance of the New York State Affordable
Housing Corporation and the Housing Partnership Development Corporation.
