If there’s anything we learned from the execution of Saddam Hussein, it’s that we are not at war. The Sunnis and the Shiites of Iraq really don’t care about us– they’re after each other, with vengeance. All we are is expensive collateral damage. Why try to win a war you’re not even fighting. I say no surge– come home.
