So I have been using Yahoo! Pipes, Google Reader, and Twitter to find and collect "anonymity because clauses"– the reasons why reporters at the New York Times have given a source anonymity– for about a month and a half now, and I’m pretty pleased with the results.
I’ve got 66 separate reasons why a person has talked to a reporter, and each of them is a variation on "because they’re not supposed to be talking with reporters". I love variation.
