Ever since I got a new scanner I have been wanting to scan a whole bunch of stuff from the (40 or so) boxes of crap I have relating to plays, performances, tours, books, etc. that I’ve done over the years.
Here’s a handwritten script for a play I wrote called "The Goddess Speaks." We called it a "multi-dimensional modern/ classic club performance", a termed coined by Ralph Wallace. It opened at Shelter, 564 West Fulton, on July 13, 1990. It had film, slides, video, recorded music, a live orchestra, all of the characters wore masks. The whole show was run by an Atari computer (credited in the program).
I think I created this script based on the video that we had of the show as I was re-compiling it for inclusion in a book I was writing. I wanted to have everything down, including the stage directions.
